The easiest and most obvious answer to that question is simple: he plays better. What do the Chicago Bears do about Eddie Jackson? It’s almost as if Jackson plays scared, or uninspired. The effort has been lackluster at best, while the tackling has been non-existent. It seems as though, since earning his big extension, Jackson has decided not to show up. They just reared their ugly head in the worst way possible on the league’s biggest stage, and fans are less than thrilled, to put it kindly. These issues from Jackson are nothing new, though. Sunday night against the Rams, he was the main culprit on two deep touchdown passes by Matthew Stafford. Once an All Pro, Jackson has fallen off tremendously in the past two years.
